Memasuki revolusi industri 4.0 dimana masyarakat dituntut lebih kreatif dalam membuat aplikasi penunjang untuk fasilitas warta dan komunikasi. Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia (Pustekkom Kemendikbud) sebagai unit utama dibawah Kemendikbud yang berfungsi melaksanakan pengembangan dan pendayagunaan TIK untuk pendidikan dan kebudayaan berinisiatif mengadakan lomba Coding Edusiber 2019 sebagai wadah untuk mencari bakat-bakat gres dalam kreasi aplikasi pada jenjang Guru dan Siswa. 

Adapun Tema Lomba yaitu : "Kepedulian terhadap Keamanan Informasi (Edusiber)" 

Tujuan Lomba Coding Edusiber 2019:
Lomba Coding Edusiber 2019 bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketertarikan para guru dan siswa dalam pemrograman komputer sekaligus memeriahkan rangkaiaan Anugerah Kihajar yang sudah dilaksanakan semenjak 2006.

 Ketentuan Peserta : 

Peserta Lomba Coding Eusiber 2019 merupakan Peserta Individu yang dibagi menjadi 2 (dua) Kategori : GURU dan SISWA SMA/SMK. 

Dengan ketentuan Sekolah Asal Peserta harus berasal dari 12 Provinsi yang sudah ditentukan yaitu:
  1.  Aceh ;
  2. Kep. Riau;
  3. Jambi ;
  4. Banten ;
  5. DKI Jakarta ;
  6. Jawa Barat ;
  7. Jawa Tengah ;
  8. DIY ;
  9. Balil ;
  10. Kalimantan Selatan ;
  11. Sulawesi Tengah ; dan 
  12. Sulawesi Selatan
 Adapun Karya Aplikasi yang dilombakan merupakan hasil karya sendiri (bukan hasil karya orang lain) yang sesuai dengan Tema "Kepedulian terhadap Keamanan Informasi (Edusiber)".
Peserta membawa laptop dan modem sendiri. Dimana setiap penerima wajib menaati peraturan yang telah dietapkan oleh Panitia selama mengikuti Lomba Coding Edusiber 2019. 
Ketentuan Karya :  
  • Karya aplikasi yang dibentuk penerima tidak melanggar hak cipta, tidak mengandung SARA dan Pornografi, dan sanggup dipertanggung jawabkan ;
  • Karya aplikasi yang dilombakan sanggup berupa Games dan Aplikasi Keamanan Siber : Cyber Security Awareness (Kepedulian Keamanan Siber) pola : Games simulasi menangkal bahaya keamanan dan siber.  Cyber Security Tools (Perangkat Keamanan Siber), contoh: Panic Button, Antivirus, Aplikasi Monitoring dan Tracking. 
  • Poin-poin Penilaian Proposal : Desain dan Rancangan Aplikasi, Desan Basis Data, Inovasi Aplikasi.
  • Proposal Karya Aplikasi diunggah ke laman  https://edusibercoding.kemdikbud.go.id 
  • Proposal Karya Aplikasi yang telah diikutsertakan merupakan hak panitia dan tidak akan dikembalikan ;
  • Proposal Karya Aplikasi yang telah dikumpulkan sanggup diedit/diperbaiki kembali oleh penerima hingga dengan penutupan pendaftaran (14 Juni 2019, pukul 23:59);
  • Peserta yang masuk ke seleksi Final Regional Provinsi menuntaskan Karya Aplikasi sesuai dengan anjuran karya aplikasi yang telah diunggah ke laman https://edusibercoding.kemdikbud.go.id   , apabila tidak sesuai maka penerima akan didiskualifikasi ;
  • Apabila ada penerima yang terbukti melaksanakan pelanggaran terhadap peraturan yang telah ditetapkan akan didiskualifikasi dan santunan penghargaan akan dibatalkan.  


Dan tidak kalah pentingnya, Hadiah bagi Pemenang. Berikut ini yaitu Hadiah Pemenang untuk 2 Kategori :

Juara I :
  • Plakat + Uang Pembinaan Rp. 10.000.000 + Laptop 
Juara II :
  • Plakat + Uang Pembinaan Rp 5.000.000 + Laptop 
Juara III : 
  • Plakat + Uang Pembinaan Rp. 3.000.000 + Laptop


Kategori Siswa 

Juara I :
  • Plakat + Uang Pembinaan Rp. 10.000.000 + Laptop 
Juara II :
  • Plakat + Uang Pembinaan Rp. 5.000.000 + Laptop
Juara III :
  • Plakat + Uang Pembinaan Rp. 3.000.000 + Laptop


Teknis Pendaftaran dan Pengumpulan Proposal 
  • Setiap penerima melaksanakan pendaftaran di laman https://edusibercoding.kemdikbud.go.id 
  • Pengunggahan berkas dimulai dari 1 April 2019 s.d 31 Mei 2019 
  • Panitia tidak mendapatkan berkas yang dikirimkan melewati waktu pendaftaran tersebut 
  • Berkas yang diunggah ke laman https://edusibercoding.kemdikbud.go.id   ,  dengan format file .docx atau .pdf yang beriisi : Proposal Karya Aplikasi, Formulir Pendaftaran, Foto berwarna bebas format sebesar 4X6 untuk setiap pesrta 



Penting untuk diketahui, Peserta yang berhasil menuntaskan pendaftaran akan menerima notifikasi melalui email dan sms.
